Stay

I’ll reach beyond the clouds and find you in a

Raindrop.

Lipstick stains on the carpet

will form your shape and show

where you used to lie and where you

died.

I lost you, you see, to an ocean of

endless epiphanies,

I cried an angel’s tears and let them fall

like

ivy. Your reality was always

“magicer” than mine,

And I’m still on the outside looking

In.

Maybe she feels like she has nothing left.

I don’t know...

whether the deep blue ocean overwhelms

her  eyes

or the grass feels like needles

in her feet.

White-walled plains of my solitude erupt

from the ground,

the everlasting love

of a friend and a

Curl like smoke or a book page for me,

slot into the library shelves,

break your spine,

be well-loved,

Don't run away.

Stay.
